The Happy Hay Co was started by MD Harry while he was just 19 years old. Harry is passionate about providing the best quality hay & when we noticed his first few customers were very pleased with the product – we knew we had a winning formula.

The Challenge

When we started working with Harry, he was selling on a basic Shopify store he had built himself, relying largely on organic social media. With the quality of Harry’s product, we saw this as a real opportunity & wanted to scale this project up to hit £1m in yearly turnover after just 12 months. 

What did we do?

In order to scale up this e-commerce business in such a competitive market, we needed to leverage as many marketing tools & channels as possible. We developed a new website & branding for The Happy Hay Co. as well as using Amazon & eBay to increase consumer reach. We also ran Google Ads, Social Ads , Email Campaigns & SEO to drive traffic to the website and leverage high conversion & customer retention rates that came from having such a high quality product.

How is it going?

We started working on The Happy Hay’s new website in June & had it published early July. The monthly revenue generated in November has been 113% higher than in June. We have been hitting month-on-month revenue increases both through the website & on Amazon & are well on target to hitting our 7-figure yearly target.
