A town with more industry than people expect
Sleaford is the home of North Kesteven District Council, and public services, education and health account for well over a third of the jobs. But drive out to the East Road industrial estate, Woodbridge Road or the Sleaford Enterprise Park and you find a different town: SHD Composites, Sleaford Quality Foods, Bailey Trailers, Cope Seeds, FedEx and the head office of Interflora are all here. The newer Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park, a 37-acre site by the A17 that the council started building out in 2022, has let its whole first phase already.
