Our home town. Our office is on Floor 1 of Lindpet House, and most of our first clients were within a mile of it.

Codesky started in Grantham in 2016 because Jordan, who grew up here, kept seeing good local businesses stuck with websites that didn't do them justice. Ten years and more than 500 websites later, the office is still in town and a good share of our clients are still Grantham businesses.

The county city is 34 miles from our office, about 45 minutes up the A46. We're there most weeks.

Lincoln is the biggest city in Lincolnshire and the one with the most competition for attention online. A plumber in Lincoln is competing with a lot more plumbers than one in Sleaford, and a restaurant near the Brayford is up against every other restaurant on the waterfront. That changes how we approach the work.

England's second-largest county by area, with no motorway in it. We cover all of it from Grantham.

Lincolnshire is enormous, thinly populated and easy to underestimate. There are 1.1 million people spread across nearly 7,000 square kilometres, and the businesses that serve them have the same ambitions as businesses anywhere else. They just have further to drive.

Half an hour down the A1 from our office, and a town where looking right matters more than almost anywhere.

Stamford was the first conservation area in England, and it shows. More than 600 listed buildings, five medieval churches and a town centre that looks much as it did two centuries ago. Businesses here trade on that. A website that looks cheap does real damage to a Stamford firm in a way it might not elsewhere.

Eleven miles up the road. Close enough that we can be with you before the kettle's boiled.

Sleaford is the nearest town to our office, and we've built websites for businesses here since the early days. It's a town of just under 20,000 that punches above its size for business, mostly because of what's happening along the A17.

A working port town of 45,000 at the far end of the A52. We cover it from Grantham, and we know it well.

Tell Google you're in Boston and it'll assume you mean Massachusetts. That's the first problem a Boston, Lincolnshire business has online, and it's a real one: a surprising amount of local SEO work here is simply making sure the search engines know which Boston you're in.

The town that grows the country's vegetables and, once a year, fills the streets with tulips.

Spalding is a market town of 30,000 on the River Welland, and it's the centre of a part of Lincolnshire that feeds a lot of the UK. Potatoes, peas, carrots and the bulb industry that gave the town its Tulip Parade, revived in 2022 after a nine-year gap. That shapes the kind of businesses we build for here.

Straight up the A1 from our office, and one of the fastest-growing towns we work in.

Newark-on-Trent's population grew by 10% between the 2011 and 2021 censuses, to just over 30,000, and the business parks along Brunel Drive show why: Newark Business Park, Brunel Business Park, Denham Business Park and Newark Logistics Park have filled up with firms that want to be on the A1 and the A46 without paying Nottingham prices.

The nearest big city to our office, about 45 minutes along the A52. Plenty of our clients are here.

Nottingham is where a lot of Lincolnshire businesses go when they want to grow, and where a lot of our work goes with them. It's a city of 330,000 with a conurbation twice that size, two universities, a tram network and an economy worth nearly £11 billion a year. It's also one of the most competitive places in the Midlands to rank a website.

From our office on the Lincolnshire border, the whole county is within an hour.

Nottinghamshire is 1.2 million people across eight districts, and only a third of them live in Nottingham itself. The rest are in Mansfield, Worksop, Newark, Retford, Hucknall, Arnold, Beeston and a hundred villages, and those are the businesses this page is for. Nottingham city has its own page.

Forty-five minutes down the A1 from our office, and forty-five minutes up the line from London.

Peterborough is the odd one out among the places we work. It's a cathedral city of 215,000 in Cambridgeshire, but its economy looks north to Lincolnshire as much as south to Cambridge, and a lot of its businesses trade with both. Being 45 to 50 minutes from King's Cross on the East Coast Main Line makes it a place where London firms open offices and local firms sell to London.

Leicestershire starts about ten miles from our door. Melton Mowbray is the first town you reach, and from there the county runs west through Loughborough, Coalville and Hinckley and south to Market Harborough, with Leicester in the middle. It's 1.1 million people, the M1 down the spine and East Midlands Airport, the second-biggest freight airport in the country, in the north-west corner.
